Description

So did not like the models that were designed so far to help fix the filament jamming / poop jamming on X1 Carbons since they were just pressure fitted and got weak in the heated chamber and then tend to get knocked off or unaligned.

So, i designed this one to be keyed into the shaft to lock into place and weighted as well. Also it comes to the top of the container as it should be. Also a small wedge on one of the legs to make sure the lower metal is always pushed forward properly vs the other designs which allowed it to swivel into different angles.

Print vertically and add custom support to the one leg only the rest prints just fine. I print it solid but you can use standard 15% infill and standard settings.

When installing it clicks into and firmly locks it into place.

this did not work as intended. printed 3 of them in different material. I thought the first one broke because of user error, but after the second one broke and the third failed to fix the poop escaping issue, I’m not sold on the design being effective.

It shows you printed the normal version there is a second version above with more tolerance for those having issues printing the normal version.

Printed vertical with no support. Came out great!

Nice, seems to have helped with the issue of poop blocking up the Chute. My print did have some warping as I tried printing it in ASA, but the part still works fine.

Edit: Larger Tolerance version was a bit too loose to stay in place after a couple prints. Using the original now with no issues so far.

So i have had a few people reach out and the normal tolarance which i use with no issue was too tight not sure if they tweaked from normal settings to make it a bit too tight so i mage the Larger Tolerance for those who end up with a print thats just way too tight. Thanks for the feedback.

Snapped or me with the normal version printed in ABS+. Going to try printing verticaly/sideways to give it more vertical strength.
