Description

You can print it with AMS like I did for convenience, but you could also just make the printer stop at the middle height and switch colors yourself.

This model makes about 27g of filament.

This feels illegal. I'm going to try it, but if I don't update with a photo the filament police got me. Update: Escaped filament jail, made a sweet purple and red dual strand. I will print with this later today and add another pic. This opens up a crazy world of custom options...

It printed very well, but my purple and red became one uniform color. What an unexpected result, likely they are just a bit too similar so the effect is too subtle for my eye.

Tried this with Silk PLA, nice result! I'll try with different colours, this gold/silver transition is very loght

i've also tried to Mix 4 colours which worked surprisingly good as well, with 0.12mm layer height
