Description

Sharpener
Heyho

I have developed a candle sharpener for a local school to make it easier to place home-made candles in holders! But the sharpener also works for conventionally bought candles!

Scalability:
The sharpener is of course super scalable to work for other sizes too! You can simply enlarge or reduce the parts in your slicers! I designed the original version of this sharpener to be 20 mm in diameter.

Post Processing
As the sharpest edge can only be as sharp as the size of your nozzle, the cutting edges should be reworked for optimum function! To do this, you can simply thin them out with a knife or file to make them as sharp as possible! This will prevent the wax from breaking and ensure a nice surface!

Versions:

I have designed 2 versions for you:

1) One-piece version: Easy to handle and the sharpener can be used directly (after sharpening).

2) Three-piece version: Here the axle can be glued to the sharpener and then clicked into the handle. The advantage is that this version can also be clamped into the a screwdriver if you want to sharpen many candles one after the other.

Candle holder
Watch out: Candles should never be burned unattended! In combination with candle wax and fire, almost any plastic tends to burn! This holder should therefore be considered primarily as a decorative object! Nevertheless, I am already working on solutions to minimize the potential danger :)

There are small elevations in the holder into which you can press the candle so that it is particularly stable.

Trop grand pour les bougies que j'ai. Mais du coup, une réimpression à 80 % est nickel. Imprimé en PLA cf
