Description

Some simple “Super Mario Boo” earrings (might work as keychain as well → would use PETG instead of PLA in that case).

Please use my print profile and a 0.2 nozzle to get a decent result.

Print on textured plate to have a nice surface finish.

The colored layers are only 0.5mm in total to keep down printing time.

As a result of this you might see black shadows through bright surface colors from black top layers (1mm in total).

If you like to have brighter colors just change size/ratio of assembled objects as you wish.

hi! I’m super new at FDM printing but I loved your earring designs. I’m trying to figure out what you mean by “if you like to have brighter colors, just change the size/ratio of assembled objects” first of, where do I do that? in the desktop app? also is it like scaling or does it involve a different setting? thanks!

Hi, you would need to do that inside the bambustudio desktop app. If you are new to FDM printing you might need to geht familiar with bambustudio first. If you scale the piece facing down to the build plate to be a little thicker the black background color will not get through and colors might be brighter. Thanks for your feedback :)
