printed the "NO AMS" version for my P1P. It looks nice but the red & white parts doesn't fully fill the black part. Overall 7/10. The "NO AMS" version should definitely get some more improvements.

thank you for the feedback, it’s difficult to fulfill completely without having issues, I upload a more loose versione for the various tollerance of various filament and machines. but I will improve it by decreasing the tolerances

Hi, the tolerances are ok, but the model just doesn't fully fill the other one. Especially the red part, the white one is fine.

better Surface finish, but missing supports made a poor surface.

interesting, what brand of material did you use? maybe mine isn’t the best to print in air 🤷🏻‍♂️

i use Sunlu filament PLA, really cheap about 10€ / kg maybe you printed it to fast ? I hate a lot of issues withe standard speed of the bambo lab filament, printet in generic pla settings ☺️

after removing support I had to use blue tape but it looks great

thank you for printing it. on my printer the hole was a little too small and it mounted with friction, I think is maybe due to different types of pla.

Without using bambu's PLA support I had support interface stuck to the print that I made sure to remove using my scraper. can you check inside your hat and ensure that the surface is smooth and there is no interface?

yeah you are right I have a little bit of support remaining, maybe that’s the difference. I didn’t even notice that it was there, I will change the dimension of the hole to a more snug fit

Fun file. We have five X1s and they all wore hats for the holidays. Guess I need to find other hats now.

a top hat comes to mind, maybe a knit beanie. I’m from St. Louis so a cards ball cap would be cool. a pimp fadora maybe? sky’s the limit. such a fun concept to play with. :)

Great little print ended up cloning it and ran about 4 at the same time. One ended up on the printer and passed the other 3 out to people at work to let it just sit on their desk.

Thanks for uploading this design. It printed perfectly. I accidentally selected black for the ball for my first print. So I printed it again with a white ball. Pictures attached. 👍

Looks great, you just need to remove the supports.

does it fit good? or is too tight?

You don't need any adjustments, just clean up the model's support, and it should install perfectly.
