Description

Deutsch:

English:

This is a remix of the A1 Mini AMS Riser.

Since I wanted the whole thing to be a bit more stable (it wobbles a lot), I sat down at the CAD and removed the connecting hole and joined the two parts together, so you have more stability and nothing wobbles anymore!

Edit 27.12.2023: HERE you can find the 10mm shorter version (in one piece) that you can print on the A1 Mini.

Schade für den A1 Mini ist das Objekt leider 7 mm zu gross.

The print came out perfect. The AMS mounts well and everything is securely attached to the A1 Mini.

Vielen Dank für die Stütze! Sieht echt top aus in einem Stück. Habe zwar für die längere Version hier nen Prusa genommen, aber das macht ja nix.

I love this! Had been using the taller version, it was great to be able to print this one on the Mini. I wish mounting the AMS Lite on the A1 looked this good! I did add extensions (https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/ptfe-tube-connector) to the PTFE tubes, as the bend was pretty steep. I printed these PTFE tube guides as well (https://makerworld.com/en/models/138533#profileId-150889).

I wish can print this, but it's too big for my A1 Mini bed 180mm3. I don't have a bigger printer, which is why the original design is a more suitable choice.

You could ask someone with a bigger printer to help you out. If you are located in germany I can help you out.

Warning - Achtung I'm not sure it's related My printer is not yet 15 days old. I've gotten some probably unrelated issues, like the nozzle getting drowned in its purge. But the problems increased. It seems that the printer was impacting the print, I actually had a print with the first layer scraped by the head in certain places. Twice, last prints. (I also got tree supports broken while still attached to the bed, multiple times previously). Note that with this foot above, a few days ago I abused the fuzzy skin function in ultra-thin mode. Also once during a print, I had a PFTE cable get caught in spool 4. Honestly, be careful, I don't want that to happen to you. I opened a ticket and hope it wasn't related. Otherwise: This version is very stable, I didn't feel like I was losing quality. The three axes seemed to remain united while it was the feet which provided cushioning. However, I'm afraid that it may have distorted the vertical axis. Note that I have run it almost full time since I had it.

Makes the a1 mini not take up so much space. Love it. Thank you

Supports were a little awkward but then again it’s an awkward shape, just would’ve liked a little more ease
