Description

25mm Trim removal tool for getting the plastic trim clips off cars. It has 25mm width, 5mm thickness and a 5mm straight groove gap. Prints fine in PLA and for the first one i used supports and a brim before I realised they were on. it was fine, easy to break out and not much extra waste.

Around 30mins print time at normal speed.

no assembly required, once the trim button is in the groove, rotate tool whilst pulling rather than pull and lever.

Nicely done. I needed some small prying for a few dashboard plastic elements and it was perfect for the job.

thanks for the comment - I use these loads as the longer reach is dead handy, and obviously they’re made of plastic so you can’t go mad but they’re easy enough to do another and resize a bit if you need. someone else have it a 1 star due to adhesion issues on his build plate 🙈. glad you found it useful- I’m currently working on trim buttons but the brittleness is an issue which makes the width very critical!

thanks for the feedback, yes I use mine all the time on my old transit which i've got the panels off more than i want. Some folk have commented that its broke easily, but its not a crowbar its a pry tool for plastics! Glad you enjoyed it, its what 3DP was made for making this stuff¬
