I have a Wen 6307 ½" x 18 power-file / detail sander. I made this mount so I could put it set the sander on the edge of my utility sink in my shop (thats why it looks gross sorry). By mounting the sander on my sink the dust can be washed down the drain and I have both hands free to manipulate the part being sanded. Both parts are designed to be joined by a ¼"-20 bolt with a nylock nut. If you don't want to mount it on a utility sink you can use the top have and design whatever clamp base you want to go with it.
