Description

New and updated Marvin Heemeyer's Killdozer is completed! I have made the chimney more accurate to the original, added several details, made it more printable with less supports, and now it is possible to print different parts in different color to be easily assembled with the correct clearance fit! Small and fragile features such as hydraulic piston and thin plates can be printed separately and glued on. Alternatively 3x30mm stainless steel pins can be used as hydraulic piston. Rest in peace Marvin Heemeyer. Your fierce spirit and remarkable engineering skills will never be forgotten. I really wanted to love this but honestly had to print arms a few times because the supports kept breaking them on removal and the model is held together with more glue than plastic. Very annoying to have to glue 2-3 pieces, wait to dry, then glue 2-3 pieces, then wait to dry, then glue more. I'd really try to combine some of these parts. It's one of the only Killdozer models I'm aware of though, so i guess it is what it is.
