Thank you! I really appreciate the photos. I was surprised how well those support settings work! Rectilinear interlaced interface is perfect for large flat surfaces.

it came out pretty good but i printed a little too fast and had some small defects. it probably would have been fine on sport but i used Ludacris lol. printed in cheap amazon silk pla. i thought the designs on the side were colored too but they arent. still looks amazing. 7.5 hours

Thanks for the photos! With silk I always slow it down. It came out looking fine though. I decided not to paint there to reduce printing time.

it was real easy to paint those by not painting the the inlays.... Take the base filament what you want the inlays to be, then paint the entire surface the other color. aside from the handle it was one click on the bottom and like 3 for the top IIRC,

Printed out 2 of the large with dividers. I like how they turned out. Used sunlu pla+ in grey and black on both and white sunlu petg as an interface layer for the supports. I won't say the supports came out smooth but not very rough at all and came off in one piece with very few threads to clean up/off.

That's great! I didn't even test it that way. Because the other version was scaled down with the CAD software and the tolerance between the lid and box were adjusted there. Thanks a lot for trying it out and sharing the results and pictures!

Thank you for your feedback. Corner lifting is a problem with large flat prints. The bed has to be clean and no cold wind drafts. I rounded the corners to help with adhesion but it still requires care.

I love the print. Used overture PLA and generic silk PLA. This was a gift for my mom, and she loved it. Thanks for the design!

Other Issues:This box is a really cool design and also a very good gift for family but the one problem I keep having is that one side of the base and the lid is lifted I don't know if its the model or my settings but other than that its a really good box.

Hello, I am sure that this issue is not caused by the model because I had the same issue when I started printing a few years ago. Which build plate are you using? Is the build plate washed? Printing large flat objects can bring adhesion issues that are not noticed with smaller objects. With less sharp edges. Also cold wind drafts can cause this as well. Please wash the plate, increase bed temp and close your windows. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I worked a lot to try to improve it and make it easily printable by everyone. I actually did exactly what you said and added a valve finish for my wife's box! It's a great suggestion!
