Description

I designed the Olympic flame for the Paris 2024 Games in scale 1. You need a large enough print volume to make it in scale 1.
In the future, I'll do a version with a flame.

The upper part is supposed to represent the Eiffel Tower and the lower part the Seine.

The curves of the Paris 2024 Olympic torch are shocking. Mathieu Lehanneur wanted to symbolize appeasement and peace, as advocated by Olympic values, by imagining a very pure form. "Olympic torches have always had a flared shape. This shape tends to hide the flame, and has always bothered me a little, because it gives the object a warlike, sledgehammer-like quality. The torch is an element of transmission and cohesion, not of conquest", says the torch's creator.
