Description

If you're going to make a Fidget Spinner then why not make one which might just bring you some luck, here we have the 4 leaf clover fidget spinner.

Designed with Fusion 360 the spinner body starts off as an SVG, this is then extruded to the size you want and the depth will be the depth of the spinner bearing which in this case was 7mm and it's a 22mm Diameter bearing.

The edges of the clover are filleted as far as it would allow me to go which was approximately 1.4mm

The bearing size is sketched in and extruded using the cut tool and then a dummy bearing is sketched in and extruded so we can then make the finger pads on which the bearing rotates.

All in all a nice little project.

Thanks for looking and be lucky!

I am looking for the bearings to support this specific spinner. Do you have a direct link to the one you used? I can find 8x22x7mm on Amazon, but I want to make sure those are right.

Hi, these are the bearings I purchased for various projects, I opted for the ceramic bearings which were more expensive than I thought, I would imagine there are cheaper alternatives but I’m no expert, the dimensions you have are correct. Hope this helps.

Thank you. I chose a cheaper version, but the same size. They will be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how they fit. I also duplicated my print to 4-up, so that I had enough to pass around the house. I'm excited to see if everyone enjoys them. The print came out really cute.

They are looking great! I've seen so many fidget spinners which seem to spin forever, I'm not sure what bearings they use, all the bearings I have purchased have left me a little underwhelmed. Enjoy the Spinners!
