My wife and I recently built Tamiya buggies but found our Protek stick pack LIPO batteries did not fit into the chassis with the original battery cover so I designed a new high-clearance cover so we could use these slightly larger batteries. For reference, these chassis are notorious for being limited to NIMH stick packs due to size constraints.

I have tested this part on both my Grasshopper II and my wife's Rising Fighter and they fit well.

I printed these parts Tamiya side down with supports out of Overture PLA Pro in black.
