Description
So i just got the A1 mini with AMS lite.. and i keep getting the location number of each spool wrong.. cause of the positioning of the number cap.. i keep getting the number wrong.. i found a lot of designer making the different style number cap for the AMS lite but none actually point to where the filament number is.. you have to rely on the small led arrow pointer to show you..
and i modelled one myself.. at first it was just a normal cap with number and an arrow pointing to the spool.. but i change and made it a star wars themed pointer caps.. now.. each cap has a number and a logo pointing to the spool..
I need to change my color scheme as the number doesnt pop outas well as the arrow design pointing..

Great touch to the AMS Lite! Note that the #2 cap interferes with the temperature / hygrometer I installed on the center cap and doesn’t allow it to sit flush now. Maybe I’ll modify the design and make it fit it anyone’s interested?

Very cool idea to use the shape as a pointer. I too am a SW fan, so a win-win for me.

thanks.. i first was just making a simple pointer for the caps.. but then it suddenly grew to becoming a star wars themed numbered caps.. LOL

These are awesome! All my printers are named after Star wars planets and this helped fit that theme beautifully! I used pla, matte pla, and black petg (the black) and when I pushed them onto the ams, the numbers understandably didn't have the same adheadion and almost slipped out. This is NOT due the model but rather the choice of filament I used.
