Retro Arcade LED Light box.
There are a total of four models in this download.
- A small retro arcade sign, slightly over 10.5 inches. There are no holes in this model for the power cables. You can either drill your desired hole out after the print or use the add negative part function in Bambu Studio. To print this model you will need two files. (Small sign body and small sign plate)
- The same small retro arcade sign as number one but with a hole in the model for the power cable. I put a hole in this model to match the LED lights I am using for the small sign. To print this model you will need two files. (Small sign body with power hole and Small sign plate).
- A large segmented arcade sign. This sign measures just under 28" tall. There are no holes in this model for the power cables. Similar to item one you can ether drill your desired hole out after or use the add negative part function in Bambu Studio. To print this model you will need a total of 8 files. (Section 1 Bottom Body, Section 1 Bottom Plate, Section 2 Middle Body, Section 2 Middle Plate, Section 3 Middle Body, Section 3 Middle Plate, Section 4 Top Body and Section 4 Top Plate).
- The same large segmented arcade sign as number three but with a power hole added for the LED's I am using. To print this model you will need the same files as in number three but substitute the Section 1 Bottom Body with Power Hole file in place of the Section 1 Bottom Body.
Small sign
For the small sign here is a link to the LED lights I am using. They are a 5v system and can be powered from USB.

I put aluminium tape on the inside walls of the small sign and made three complete loops around the inside with the 5v lights. After I put the tape and lights into place I glued the plate on the back side.
Large sign
For the large sign here is a link to LED lights I am using. I decide to use a 24v light for the large sign. The 24v lights are brighter than the 5v ones.

Each section of the large sign will need to be glued together. I put a small amount of super glue gel into the groove for each part and let that dry before I put the tape on the inside. The aluminum tape on the inside helps with reflect all of the light out of the model but it also strengthen the model. Make sure your are taping over the joints. I added a little bit of super glue to the inside wall of the model before I placed the tape on the joint. I also went around this model three times with the lights. Once all that was complete I glued the plates on the back.
