Description

This is a spinner/extruder visualiser for the A1 series printers. If you like the Portal games, it's a must have. There is already a Portal themed spinner, that supports multi color printing, but i don't have an AMS. so i designed this the “old scool” way. Print it without support, from white pla, and use a permanent marker of your choice for the “triangles”. Then i sanded the face to remove access paint.

IMPORTANT: you need to remove the transparent plastic dome from the stock hotend face, since this logo is bigger, and will interfere with the plastic dome.

Feel free to modify the model, or make a print profile, or multi color version of it.

this is perfect, I've been planting easter eggs all over my house to see if anyone notices, a gamecube cover on my Nintendo was the first, this is the third, between that was a car, and more to come.

the orientation does cause problems with the bridging across the gaps, because the bridges kept on sagging down, I fixed this with some supports and flipping it

Thanks for your comment, yes the overhangs van cause trouble but in my testings, it was performing more than good enough, and i used the stock profiles that are included in bambu slicer, with generic pla settings. So i don't have a problem with saggy overhangs on my a1, but that can be because of a lot of different factors. Nevertheless, since i painted these areas black, it's even less noticable. I'd like to see you posting some pics about your print though ;)
