Description

Made for 38mm hoses and clamping onto a 58mm round pool frame (such as most Intex and Bestway pools)

If you need any other frame or hose dimension, give me a shout and I'll try and make it as soon as I have the time.

The fit is nice and tight but I made holes for tie wraps to be sure (6mm*3mm square holes).

The hose will stay in place and with a lot of clamping force, but a kid can easily rip it out when it thinks it's a toy.

I use it for my heat pump, which is on a separate circuit than my filter and therefore the hoses need to hang in and out of the pool. This way I can be sure not to ruin my pump or heat pump because of the hose falling out. This also makes sure that the pump stays primed whenever I turn it off.

This print needs A LOT of support. For maximum quality (and strength) use as little z-offset to the support interface layers as possible, but it will be a pain to clean up)

I used 0,2mm offset and removing supports took easily 10 minutes with a decent knife and pliers

Printing with support interface material right now to see how it goes

UPDATE: First off, the support material worked flawlessly. The surface quality is top notch and there is almost no difference in surface quality between a 100% overhang and flat layers.

I noticed though that the hose quide might be a little bit to thin so I made a stronger version.
I also reduced the taper angle on the frame clamp because it took a little too much force to get it in place. I also removed the holes for the tie wraps to the frame. Given the pool bag is in the way, you can't install them (and it's really stuck on the frame without any tie wraps)
