Description

A1 and A1 MINI special drag chain. The length can be decided by yourself. The file includes the nozzle and X-axis drag chain holder.

A specially designed ABS filament perforation can increase the elasticity of the drag chain by penetrating the ABS filament.

Requires the following additional screw sizes.

M3X10 OR M3X12 4pcs

V2 version updates the following features

1. Increase the drag chain shaft to fit more filaments and make it easier to assemble and durable.

2. The part of the Z-axis fixed drag chain adopts a sliding design to adapt to different lengths. The sliding range is 10mm.

3. Lengthening and enlarging the drag chain body eliminates the need to print too many drag chains.

4. In order to increase the stability of the rotating shaft, the drag chain was changed from the original one-piece molding to an assembly of two parts.

5. Since the Z-axis file sizes of A1 and A1MINI are different, separate the two URLs to avoid printing wrong parts.

Thanks, good choice, this color looks pretty close to the A1 cover's and makes whole setup so nice.

can anyone confirm if this is actually working for the A1 not the mini? The printed out the parts but the part that goes on the right side bends the USB cable extremely hard on the A1 I'm not sure if anyone mini is slightly different put the cable doesn't seem to fit on the A1 any suggestions thank you so much in advance The print profile was great just not sure what is going on or why it won't fit on the A1 *EDIT* for those that are making this for the A1 and not the mini it does not fit the A1 there are slight differences on the right side. as of right now not compatible with the A1 only the mini would be awesome to get an update for the A1 though thanks in advance for the profile. The drag chain works fine The tool head section connectors work fine it's just everything on the filament cutter side for the A1 will not fit

I updated the A1 holder in the original file. The file name is hoader-A1.stl. Please test it again. Thank you.

thank you so much The modified file for the A1 worked and fits fine but unfortunately The part named x holder 2 does not fit the A1 properly either. the part that wraps around the cable on the underside bumps into the camera and doesn't slide flush against the side.

pretty great print. had 2 links fail but I needed 4 additional from the build plate anyway so I printed all the extras on round 2.

I had to break it down into a few smaller prints because of pieces detaching from the build plate, so I also added a brim and supports. Other than that, the model looks great! I just need to get the screws, so I can assemble it!

This was easy to print. Very well modeled and fits the A1 mini perfect. I like how easy to assemble it was. Printed with bambu PETG

That's ABS filament, which increases the elasticity of the drag chain. It can be used without it.

Nice and simple, easy to fold and quick to print. If you are using a filament that discolors when pinched, I recommend taking a flame to the spine of each link after folding to reduce discoloration.

My man. I knew that a lighter could help with stranding but didn't realize it worked on crease marks as well. Thanks!
