Description

This pentacyclic epicycloid walkabout is inspired by the mathematics of structural geometry and the artists M. C. Escher, as well as, Robert Fathauer. It is walkable in the sense that it is like a path with stepped overpasses. Mathematically it is an ‘unknot’ or in the vernacular of the late chemist Alan Holden, it could be thought of as an orderly twist that unlike a knot can be unentangled with a simple move of untwisting.
