Description

Summary

A motorized turntable for various applications, like 360° videos,… super easy to assemble (only 3 parts) and perfect for a first small electronics project. .

After uploading a small washing machine, I realized that I didn't have any good photos or videos of it in its finished state. So I tried to take some photos and, being a pragmatic person, I built a small turntable to take 360° videos. I still had the parts from the mini washing machine ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6147167 ), so this turntable uses the same parts. (If you buy them for this rotary plate, you can use them also for the washing machine and vice versa).

The platter works quite well, but is certainly not perfect yet, so there is a chance that I will tweak it here and there.

The recommended bearings I bought fit perfectly on the plate, but the base pin is too wide. Do I need a different type of bearings?

Hi, can you look on one your ball bearing and make sure that they are 688zz Ball bearings?

Hi, thanks, yes, I solved it. Why are there two gears? Anyway, they don't fit in the engine; I should widen the hole to 1.8 mm

Np :) There are some motors that have a shorter shaft, thats why there are two gears ;) I should describe it better. I made the hole smaller on propose , i heat up the shaft (gently) and press the gear slowly in.
