Description

Introduction

The existing 30mm fan for cooling the Raspberry Pi, BTT pico board and stepper drivers may not be sufficient if users want to fully enclose the V0.2 for ABS, ASA or Nylon with a hot chamber. A silent 80x10mm 24V fan will be better at pushing air onto the electronic and the hexagonal openings on the sides allows the hot air to exit.

There are 2 versions.

  1. Printed in ABS, where users can install brass inserts M3 OD5mm H4mm to mount the 80mm fan. - use the 3mf file.
  2. Laser cut 3mm acrylic and use M3 nuts for mounting. - use the dxf file

The Voron-inspired fan cover for the 80mm fan is printed and can be found in the 3mf file. Installation is the same as the stock panel.

Caveat

As with all my designs, it may and may not work for you. So print and install at your own discretion.
