Description

Let's face it, hanging pictures can be a daunting task. Getting them exactly where you want them. Nailing holes in your wall only to find it's not where it needed to be. “The Hanger” makes hanging pictures almost enjoyable!

  1. Attach the Hanger Tool to the frame (easily works with Sawtooth, Triangle, and D-Ring frame hangers).
  2. Position the frame in the desired location.
  3. Holding “The Hanger” firmly, remove the frame.
  4. Insert the nail in the hole of the triangle (where the frame was being held).
  5. Tap lightly on the nail to locate this position.
  6. Remove the Hanger Tool and nail.
  7. Line up the lower notch on the left edge with the nail mark from step 5.
  8. With "The Hanger" l vertical/plumb, use the upper notch to locate and hammer the frame nail.

That's it!

The STL seems to be an older version. It has 2 holes on the left edge instead of slots like the .3mf has. Just a heads up! I didn't notice until the print was complete.

Thank you for the feedback. The 3mf file is the correct version, however, as you mentioned, the .stl file was a previous version. I have corrected the .stl file to the latest version.

The design is great! I end up hanging lots of pictures for my work and I can't wait to bust this out next time I need to hang one. I went with petg-cf and it came out beautifully.

This is great to hear! My wife, on the regular, is having me hang framed pictures and it's always been a nightmare! This has saved many an evening and restored marital harmony! The notched edge version is easier to use than the nail hole version. So, if you have some extra filament, I'd recommend reprinting. Happy picture hanging and thanks for the feedback. Spread the word if you have other Social Media outlets. So many struggle with this. ;-)

This is probably a stupid question, but why should I align the notch with the previously marked hole in step 7 and not drive the nail directly into this mark? Maybe I'm just thinking too complicated...

Because the top notch is aligned with where the hanger will be hung.
