Description

A carbon fiber truss-tube Newtonian telescope.

The current setup includes:

  • 150mm F750mm main mirror
  • 35mm secondary mirror
  • 25mm or 10mm eyepieces, 1.25inch
  • star finder scope 6x21

Assembly needs:

  • 6x 20mm (OD) x 600mm carbon fiber tube
  • M4 x 35mm screw, 10+
  • M4 x 25mm screw, 10+
  • M4 bolts.
  • A cheap tripod. (you may need to modify the mount)

Cost me ~120USD to build.

Instruction may come later but it is quite straight forward to assembly.

The current version requires to cut the brought focuser, see below.

You may find the ebay secondary mirror base is not compatible to this design. It was mean to be designed but I found another version with 3 M4 long screw that can fix on the ring. So I didnt make one.
