Summary

Hi guys,

This is a very easy and handy project that everyone can make - A Humidity reader.
Having one of these readers is very handy to have in every house.

And for the guys with 3D printers, knowing the humidity is important because the filaments can be affected by it.
The project uses just a few components. The main one is a 16F88 microcontroller from microchip.
For the guys that don't have a programmer to flash the hex file into the microcontroller,
you can easily make a cheap and easy-to-build JDM programmer (just google JDM programmer).
Another alternative is to buy the microcontroller from microchip already programmed.
The code that I designed will work with many known humidity sensors on the market.
The sensors that can be used are:
DHT11, DHT21, DHT22, AM2302, SHT71 and SHT75.

Here you can find the STL for the enclosure and side panels, a PDF file with the schematics and the HEX file for the microcontroller.

For the assembly, you can check here
