Description

Jewelry box for rings in the shape of a carousel

 

Rings can be stored in this jewelry box.
The rings are placed in four small gondolas which are arranged on a carousel. By turning the right-hand wheel, the gondolas are moved past the front opening and can then be easily removed. The gondolas each have 9 compartments for narrower and wider rings, so there are 36 compartments.
The parts are easy to print and can simply be plugged together after printing. The parts are secured with a little glue during assembly. See pictures

Attention: When assembling, make sure that the recesses on the 2 inner drum parts are opposite each other, only then will the arrangement of the bolts for holding the nacelles be correct.

- Optimum pressure of 0.16 mm
- No support is required.
- If you want to print in one color, the two parts of printing plate 3 can be moved onto printing plate 1.
- The sliding cover must be printed with a layer thickness of 0.1 so that the filigree ornament is printed cleanly. This default setting is already saved in the 3mf file.

 

I have changed the ornament on the lid a bit, as there were some problems printing it. So it looks a bit different than on the pictures.

 

mounting:

First mount the rotating body with the nacelles,
make sure that the two markings are on top of each other

Then place the assembly in the housing and insert the rotary head on the right-hand side.

Then insert the sliding cover and fit the left-hand part of the housing.

 

ATTENTION: When gluing together, make sure that no adhesive gets into the guide groove of the sliding cover at Position 1 !!!
