This is a fun bookmark I made with a little place holder attached. It's perfect for those rolls of filament that are almost gone as each bookmark only uses 2.85 grams of filament. These are thin enough to not crease your book pages and yet sturdy enough when you bend them, they will return to their original shape. Some simple settings will need to be changed in order to get the hex design, or you are welcome to use my print profile!
Setting changes to get the hex design:
(You can find all except the last one under the “Strength” tab in Bambu Studio)
Wall Loops: 5
Top Shell Layers: 0
Bottom Shell Layers: 0
Sparse Infill Pattern: Honeycomb
Only One Wall On Top Surfaces: Not Applied (This can be found under the “Quality” tab with advanced settings.)
This does take up most of the available y axis space so make sure your print bed is clean, especially the edges. I like making mine on a smooth PEI sheet, but should work on a textured PEI sheet just as well.
I hope this gives you a great way to create something usefull out of small amounts of filament :)
