Description

A retake on the original “Cat-A-Pult Treat Toy”

I didn't like the way it sat, very asymmetrical :D

To use the Cat-A-Pult, simply load the tower with your cat's favorite treats and give it a spin. As the tower rotates, treats will be dispensed from the base, encouraging your cat to play and engage with the toy.

I guess it could be used for other pet treats

*It might need some cleanup to fit together, all based on your printer. On my Prusa mini it prints well and doesn't need any cleanup

hey, just printed this and while it’s an overall good design, I have some suggestions. 1. you should consider making the cylinder in two pieces or screw on for easier addition of treats & cleaning. either a dual / triple V or triangle negatives that line up against the seams and use the frame as the means of keeping it together, or a cap / screw using one end. if you use the cap / screw method, will make printing talhat overhang without supports a lot easier for slower printers. 2. I would add a steep chamfer or radius inside both ends (make it more football shaped inside) to force the treats toward the center. if you did this, you can make the center hole size a bit bigger and keep the ones near it a bit smaller to accommodate different treat sizes, then get rid of the far outer holes. 3. the addition of some tabs on the bottom frame itself would be good if we need to secure the print down, it’s pretty light and can easily be knocked over.
