Description

Hey Super Mario Bros. fans! You can now print your very own Mario goal pole. Raise your own Mario flag, or one of the other four flags, with this mechanical model. Twist the gear in the back to raise and lower the flag. There are five interchangeable flags:

  • Mario flag
  • Luigi flag
  • Bowser flag
  • Toad flag
  • Toadette flag

Model size: 17.8 cm x 9 cm

Printer Settings

Follow these recommended settings:

  • Nozzle: 0.40 mm
  • Layers: 0.16 mm layers for flags and gears. 0.20 mm for the rest is okay
  • Infill: 25% gyroid infill.
  • Walls/Perimeters: 3
  • Wall/Perimeter Generator: Classic
  • Supports: Small amount required under the flagpole gear and under the opening in the tower that the large gear fits through. I used default support settings.
  • Speed: 60 mm/s for the sheath, flagpole, and flag attachment nut. Default printer speed for the other parts.
  • For MMU/AMS compatible flags, split into parts for easy colorizing. If you have a Bambu printer, this has already been done for you in the 3MF file.
  • For printers without a MMU, you can use the embossed flags and set a color change to white for the last 0.40 mm.

Made this for myself and my daughter confiscated it lol. she loves it, I do too. I did have some trouble with the screw inside the post so I ended up laying it on its side. It took some additional post processing, but I had 3-4 failed prints so it was time to try something different. Still a great print I’ll have to print another for myself. Interchangeble flags are awesome.
