printed this but it came out just a hair to small for the can 😟

That is odd. Not sure why that would happen. Looks like a normal can

reprinting in petg right out of a fresh bag and then I have some PLA+ I till try. I’ll let you know how it works out. the first print is super nice, it’s just a tad to small and maybe it’s time I upgrade the drying fan to prevent any possible shrinkage.

I wanted to ask what part of the country/world you are in. I remember in some places cans might be a different diameter. Mine are 66mm diameter and the hole in the can mugger is 66.5mm which usually makes a snug but not tight fit. You may want to try 100.5% scale.

Something didn't go right, the area under the handle warped. Rest is perfect, except that I can't get the can out - I may try scaling the model out a little bit. 🤣

That looks like heat creep.

Thanks, I'm all new to the various terms. Heat creep might be possibly because I kept the door closed and the stream of air from the fan didn't get to that area as it was covered by the main body of the mugger.

Totally I get it but still dont really understand it. Tried to rotate a bit and prusaslicer has a new feature that dynamically slows down on overhangs seems to help

love the print but it is a bit tight on the can and once it is in you can’t turn it. I changed nothing.

I made one with slightly damp filament and the swelling was just enough to cause that to happen. If theres any nubs on the inside you can try to scrape them off. Thanks for trying it out!

Clear pteg, it printed well. But, I used support inside the handle... Didn't seem like it would print well without... But can you? ...why does this model advertise no support? ...just curious

love the design. but only only flaw. with the lid up it is rather hard to take a drink unless you take your beverage out every time. works great to keep bugs/pests out but not functional entirely.
