Description

Partsbox for X1-Carbon, P1S and P1P. I needed parts-boxes for my X1-C and P1S and when i made them i also made a lid for P1P if anybody wanted a box for them as well.

I want to thank Nanodesigner for the perfect design of the Complete Hotend i borrowed to show the application of the box.

You need 2pcs of M3x30mm for the latch. I use stainless 1,6mm tig-welding pin for both of the hinges of the lid.

2023-10-09 Added Insert agian. It was apparently a corrupt file. Apologize for this. Added both 3mf and stl now.

2023-11-13 Got request for different bottom so i made a second model without the cables for the hotends and put loose walls so you can arrange how you like it.

Great. I’m still figuring out what to use for hinge pins but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find something that works. Awesome!

Thank you. Glad you liked it. Go to any hardware/toolshop. It's ordinary 1,6mm stainless steel for TIG-welding. But any 1,6mm steel works.

What is the filament you're using in the photos above?

I'm using Prusament Galaxy black PLA, eSun silk silver PLA and Extrudr NX-2 Black PLA to the insert and inner lid. And for the latch and latch cam i use eSun ABS+. I recommend you using ABS or similar to the latch system.

thanks! i was looking for the galaxy black pla and boy it is expensive. thanks for the abs suggestion, unfortunately I am on A1 so can’t do ABS. i can make it in PETG though.

All the parts printed perfectly. The hinge pins I picked up from Amazon and trimmed to fit. I didn't have to tweak anything to assemble the box. Thanks
