This design is based on a previous tealight holder I made

I also made a hanger that fits the hole perfectly

It’s a nice simple ornament you can hang up on the tree or wherever.

This can be modified in any color you like, just change the color in the parts list in Bambu Studio

It’s also possible to make this even more personal. I printed a couple in black and white and my kids had a blast coloring them. A great gift or just a fun activity to do for kids or adults. Basic coloring pencils or markers works great!

NOTE:

• The better you have tuned in your first layer settings, the better this will look. The profile I have included in my model is tested thoroughly and many models got thrown away before I was satisfied. You could print this faster but I think that would compromise on quality
• I would recommend to have a clean bed and a clean nozzle before printing this type of model.
• A general rule of thumb is to print the brightest color first

Some important settings I use:

• Layer height - 0.2mm
• First layer line width - 0.28
• Arachne mode ON
• First layer flow ratio 1.02 (if your model comes out with gaps in the front, you could increase this value or calibrate your filament flow)
• Infill wall overlap 25%
• Speed:
  • First layer – 50mm/s
  • First layer infill – 50mm/s
  • Top layer – 50mm/s
  • Rest – 200mm/s
