Do you like to collect shields of soccer teams?.well, here you are, La Real Balompédica Linense is a soccer club from the city of La Línea de la Concepción (Spain) that currently plays in Second Division B group IV. La Balompédica was born on January 4, 1912 although it began to compete in an official way in the year 1921. A year later, in 1922, the club's secretary, Cristóbal Becerra, applied for the title of Royal, which was granted that same year by King Alfonso XIII.

According to the federative yearbooks, it was founded on January 4, 1912 (the date the club considers to be the anniversary date).

The first official match it played was against C.D. Málaga, which it won by a difference of 8 goals. Subsequently obtained the title of Royal by King Alfonso XIII.

In the Cup tie of the same season, held in Granada, C.D. Malaga was again the rival of La Balona; this time the score was 3-0, and the club from La Linea was Regional Champion.

In 1929, and at the request of various Moroccan clubs (then French zone and Spanish protectorate), given the great popularity that the team had taken, was invited to make a tour playing with the most prestigious clubs in that area, all of which were defeated by wide margins of goals. As a curious fact, in a match played against the French Empire, this team handed him the cup that had to be played before the start of the match.

Another historic match was the one played against Racing F.C. de Córdoba in the 1935-36 season in which Real Balompédica Linense won by 22 goals to 0.

In 1932, the Marquesa de Marzales was named godmother of the club, thanks to her various financial donations.
