  • Print the planters in your own color combinations!
  • Slide-on holders lets you move your plants around, or switch between hanging or stand displays

Printing

There are 11 plates in the print profile I've provided. Print only the plates with The Versatile Planter components needed to make your very own planter.

Assembly

Two hanger options:

  • Fasten the hanger with screws (recommended) or with strong double-sided adhesive tape.

Two planter options:

  • With plant tag slot
  • Without plant tag slot

Two lid options:

  • Lid with a 72mm diameter opening to put in your own suitably sized pot.
  • Lid with an inner pot so that you can plant directly in the planter.

Three stand options:

  • Single stand
  • Double stand
  • Triple stand

Assembling the inner pot:

  • The inner pot base slides in at an angle from the bottom opening of the inner pot body. Fit in place with the flat side facing up.

Plant tags

  • I've included a blank tag that you can print and write on with marker.
  • Alternatively, you can make your own plant tags using Bambu Lab's Make-My-Sign web tool: https://makerworld.com/en/makerlab/makeMySign
  • The tags should be 40mm wide, 30mm tall, and < 1mm thick to fit into the planter's tag slot.

Safety and caution

  • Ensure safety when fixing the hangers: make sure the fasteners you are using is suited for the environment, and able to support the load, particularly when the planting media is wet.
  • Please check for water leakage/seepage after printing before use. The 3D printer and filaments you use will affect this greatly, and some experimentation is probably required.

Have fun with this, and a like or follow will be most appreciated!
