A simple case for using an LD2410C radar sensors with an ESP32 C3 Mini. I've included a little spacer that can be slid over the pins of the LD2410C to help with soldering to the ESP board.

BOM:

Prints require no supports. I've used PLA without issue.

  1. Snip off the “out” pin on the LD2410C. This is the middle pin.
  2. Slide the space over the pins.
  3. Solder the pins to the ESP board.
    1. The VCC pin on the LD2410C goes into the 5V hole on the ESP. The rest of the pins fall in line.
    2. See the photos for reference
  4. Cut off the excess from the pins.
  5. Slide the boards into the case.
    1. You'll need to slide the LD2410C in first at a slight angle.
  6. Pop the cover into place.

I'm using this YAML config on these with Home Assistant and they're currently my favorite presence sensor.

thanks, just made one, great project, and that way to solder it like this - so smart and small!
