This is a multicolour remix of the Majora's Mask model by WeeMadSausage on Thingiverse. We've also made a wall-mount that holds the mask up through the eyeholes.
For the full colour version, you will need a printer that can print a minimum of 8 colours (eg. Bambu printer with 2 AMS units). There is also a 2-colour version. Both .3mf files were generated in Bambu Studio.
The mask will require some assembly after printing. There are small holes/dowels to help with alignment, but they may not be necessary. If you print in multicolour, the holes for the square pegs (in the top horns) will need to be cleaned up, as the multocolour affects the inner surface and alters the fit (and this cannot be fixed in the current version of the slicer). Simply print the square pegs with a smaller z height to compensate.
We did not use any supports when printing this model. This led to some really minor defects in some places, but overall didn't have a noticeable effect in our opinion. There is also a lot of room on the print bed for flush objects, so feel free to utilize this space to mitigate purge waste! You could also scale everything down slightly and print both halves at once, saving considerable time and filament.
We printed the full-colour version with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height.
Filaments used:
eSUN PLA+: Black, Cold White, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Blue, Peak Green
eSUN Matte PLA: Almond Yellow
*eSUN orange and green will need extra purge. We had some colour bleeding (see photos) when black transitioned to these colours.
