Description

Hi everyone!

I have created this file because I needed to free up space on my desktop. So I have created a support for the wall that could also be compatible with the IKEA Skadis noticeboard. For smaller print beds, I have split the base into 2 pieces. For those like me who also have a 3d printer with a larger working area, it can print in one piece. As hardware you only need 4 pins and 2 M5 bolts.Let me know if you like it and if the file needs modifications.

Bye everyone

Was ist eine "Pin" auf Deutsch? die man in Obi / Hornbach / Bauhaus finden kann. Danke!

I printed the split file made for the A1 Mini printer. Worked great. It reduced the depth of my vertical mount system by about 4 inches. My L shaped base lets me keep the A1 Mini and AMS portable as 1 peice, incase the wife makes me move out of this room. Thank you for sharing the design with us.

What length of the M5 screws is required? and which pins do you think are still needed?

The bases where the pins go are 8mm thick, the skadis board is 5mm. I used 16mm long pins. Even just the 2 upper pins could be enough, but for greater stability I preferred to use 4

OK, all clear, thank you for the information. I'm currently in the process of printing it. I took the second profile from you where both are on one disk and it only takes almost 3 hours. I'm excited to try putting it on the wall this evening

A good support, I would improve the screw holes, they do not hold well. Good job.

I printed out this model (in two parts) which I find interesting. But I have a big problem with it: it's not strong enough and is only held in place by the two support screws on each side, which don't fit sufficiently into the ams. I enlarged the diameter to 6 so the screws would fit better. I also drilled and added two screws for extra rigidity. I should have made it much thicker and recessed the screws. I'm not too confident about the strength of 4 full coils. I've also turned the Ams upside down to avoid extending the cable.

How stable and confident is this design, has anything cracked or fallen off at any point?
