Description

You just got a 3D printer and want to test its capabilities? Are you looking to discover the limits of your printer? Then don't wait any longer! Use the Cali-bot to see what your printer is capable of :D

This print-in-place model follows in the footsteps of the Benchy and the excellent Cali-dragon by MCGYBEER. It also includes tolerance tests. After printing, the legs move and the head can rotate.

It allows you to test:

Small walls
Details
Overhangs
Ghosting
Warping
Poor adhesion to the bed
Tolerance in all axes
Overall quality
Small perimeters
Layer adhesion
Bridging
In the end, you'll have a nice articulated robot to display :)

If you have any ideas for modifications, parameters to test, or anything else, feel free to leave them in the comments!

The purchase of these parts does not include commercial use. Please mention me in any sharing of this model (either by my username "@impression_ant" or by my name "Ehret Colin"). Feel free to contact me if you wish to use it commercially ;)"

I'm getting a warning from the slicer to use supports. I've not done that yet, and I see the project does not request it. I can see the up arm needing it maybe, but when I enable supports, it adds them all over the bot which seems overkill. So support yes/no? And if I do use supports does it really need to be the Bambu support filament sample? Thanks to anyone who can answer.
