Description

Do you need a door stopper that is easy to use, durable, and adaptable? Then you might want to try FlexiStop, the parametric door stopper that features a spring loaded arc to keep the door open.

FlexiStop works like a traditional wedge stopper but adds the compliance and flexibility not present in typical hard wedges by using a compliant arc to spring load the wedge, increasing friction when you insert it between the gap between the door and the floor. The spring will keep the door and stopper in place, preventing the door from moving. The stopper is not a completely straight wedge on purpose and has a curved lead-in to get under tighter spaces

You can adjust the length and stiffness of the stopper, as well as several other aspects in the included parametric Fusion360 design for free.

Printing

Recommend printing it with 4-5 walls (mostly solid) for long term durability. Shown here in Prusament Galaxy Purple.

FlexiStop works when printed out of PLA or PETG and does not need to be printed out of flexible material like TPU to get some squish in your stopper.

Provided in 3MF, STEP, and F3D formats.
