I saw a multicolor of this great model posted on Reddit, and needed to print this. Unfortunately, the multicolor version by MrSaiclops only imported geometry into the Bambu Slicer.
So I looked at the main photo, and manually “sliced” the layers by painting the colors. It was a pain, and took some time, but the finished product is incredible. The benefit of having this done is that you can make different color variations simply by re-assigning colors to the numbers.
I am including 4 different .3mf files. The original, an upscaled 150% version, a 4-color version, and a 150% upscaled 4 color version. The reason for including additional files for the 150% upscaled version is because when I upscaled, it introduced artifacts in the model of color #1 (which isn't used at all), which I then had to “re-paint” away.
The colors assigned to the 3 color version are 4, 7, and 10. The colors assigned to the 4 color version are 3, 4, 7, and 10.
When importing, you should just be able to click the drop down for these colors and select your own.
I printed a “small” version first at .2mm layer height, and a 150% version second at .12mm layer height. Both looked great.
--Caveat--
This is probably not perfect, I screwed up lots when making it, but it slices correctly to the colors assigned, and it prints great. I have no pictures of the 4 color versions yet, because I haven't printed them yet … just prepared them.
