3D model description

When it comes to tiny tanks, I'm a huge fan of the raw and functional appearance of the Prototype Rhino from KILLMEFORPRIZES (https://cults3d.com/en/users/KillMeForPrizes/3d-models). So when it came time to flesh out the armour for my tiny forces, I wanted to continue on that theme and make use of that chasis design.

Enter, the Prototype Predator.

Knowing the Rhino chasis forms the foundational basis for the various forms of armour, I envisage it as quite modualar with various components switching in and out depending what its purpose will be. To that end the edits are isolated with the majority of the body unchanged. I've modified the front to incorporate the bulging single-vision slot driver port, and modified the top to remove the troop hatch and pintle bolters and accomodate the turret port and additional cooling vents. On the sides, I've simply removed the doors to accomodate the sponsons. Because the track profile is different on this prototype chasis there isn't realy the real estate to incorporate the additional sponson armour shield that curves around the top front quarter on the usual Deimos, but I'm treating its absence as representative of the minor tweaks to design that came in later.

Because of the changes to the front and top structure it messed with the existing internal hollowing, so to fix this up I solidified it up again and added a new under-hull cut away.

There are two hull options (with and without the front hedgrow cutter). The Turrets and sponsons are modeled separately to the hull, and include options for:

Turrets
- Destructor battlecannon
- Baal autocannon
- Ball flamestorm
- Magna melta
- Annihilator lascannon

Sponsons
- Heavy bolter
- Heavy flamer
- Lascannon
- Twin-linked lascannon

I have only includede one side of each sponson, so they will need to be mirrored. I haven't included holes for magnetising the weapons, because:
- at this scale, its fiddly as all hell; and
- you've got a printer, just print another one for the different loadout.
