Un progetto nato tempo fa con klipper quando iniziai ad usarlo con la mia artillery X1. Comprai un LCD da abbinare con klipper screen, volevo costruire un case per ospitare lo schermo e il raspberry e anche un eventuale relè per lo spegnimento della stampante,poi ho pensato: ‘ma perché limitarlo solo per klipper?’.

Ho iniziato a guardare in rete qualcosa di carino e con un po' di stile, e ho disegnato questo mini TV in stile retrò che ricorda un po gli anni 70,gli anni pop, quindi una forma curva, maniglia di trasporto, antenna circolare (questa montata è finta) classica manopola per il volume ecc, ma che abbia un anima moderna, quindi che ospita non solo un raspberry ed un LCD touch, ma a bordo monta delle casse da 8w, 2 fan, un regolatore amplificato di volume, e un ricevitore con mini tastiera bluetooth.

E’ un progetto molto manuale, anche dispendioso specie il costo del raspberry che negli ultimi tempi è salito molto. Il totale della spesa questa tv, costa un pò, ma l’ho creata per il semplice amore di farlo, cioè creare un qualcosa con un tocco personale e nato da zero. Non crediate che non abbia bisogno di un po di post produzione, una passata con lima o carta abrasiva fine, ecc. Per quanto sono riuscito a coordinare bene le misure e le tolleranze, ricordo che le stampe sono influenzate anche dalla calibrazione delle stampanti quindi flusso ecc.

A project started some time ago with klipper when I started using it with my artillery X1. I bought an LCD to go with klipper screen, I wanted to build a case to house the screen and raspberry and also a possible relay to turn off the printer,then I thought, 'but why limit it just for klipper?'

I started looking on the net at something nice and with some style, and I designed this retro style mini TV that reminds a bit of the 70's,the pop years, so a curved shape, carrying handle, circular antenna (this mounted one is fake) classic volume knob etc, but that has a modern soul, so that it houses not only a raspberry and a touch LCD, but on board it mounts 8w speakers, 2 fans, an amplified volume control, and a receiver with mini bluetooth keyboard.

It is a very manual project, also expensive especially the cost of raspberry which has gone up a lot in recent times. The total expense this TV, it costs a bit, but I created it for the simple love of doing it, that is, creating something with a personal touch and born from scratch. Don't think it doesn't need some post production, a wipe with file or fine sandpaper, etc. As far as I was able to coordinate the measurements and tolerances well, remember that prints are also affected by printer calibration so flow etc.
