The unique aspect of the design is that all the parts are laid flat in a frame, like an unassembled model. You need to use small scissors to cut out each part, then assemble them into a hanging ornament. It’s not a fixed format - you can also use your imagination to assemble any parts other than the “春” (spring) character, creating your own New Year’s ornament. This is not only a fun DIY activity but also a symbol of the fresh start that the New Year brings.

What’s even more special is that there are two “春” (spring) characters on the assembled gift card, one on each side. This is to create a unique visual effect, as you can see an upside-down “春” (spring) character whether you look at it from the front or the back. This is actually a pun, implying “春到了” (spring has arrived), a common greeting we use during the Lunar New Year.

In addition, there’s a small tag in the card that says “金龍迎春” (Golden Dragon Welcomes Spring). This is a symbolic greeting. The “金龍” (Golden Dragon) symbolizes wealth and power, and “迎春” (Welcoming Spring) symbolizes the arrival of a new year. The phrase means that we hope everyone can welcome the spring like a golden dragon in the new year, enjoying the joy of wealth and success. You can add the small tag to the ornament, or use it separately as a backpack ornament, mobile phone ornament, or key ring.

Notes:

1.The configuration file is available in a single color version and a “金龍迎春(Golden Dragon Welcoming Spring)” gold font version. If you have gold wire on hand, you can choose the “Dragon Year kit card_2” configuration file.

2.However, due to the differences in wires from various manufacturers, there may be issues with the assembly of the character “春” being too tight or too loose. It is recommended to first print a test file to confirm whether it can be installed smoothly.

3.It can be printed smoothly without adding a brim. If the first layer of printing is not good, please clean the board surface and wipe it with alcohol, or open the brim .

4.There are two extra O-type connecting rings for backup. You can use them as needed.

5.I have no problem printing using the default configuration and PLA supplies. If it needs to be hung outdoors for a long time, it is recommended to change it to PETG material.
