Description

Summary

Based on the excellent design of HelloRuiz: AnkerMake M5 Tool Case Holder.

I just changed the direction of the long edge of the toolbox facing up.
Made it a little more compact on the printer.
It's just a preference.

I also added a splitted version, so you can change direction of the toolbox as you please.
(Search for split in the filename)

For the Ankermake M5 Users, I added the sliced GCODE file for PETG so you can directly print it.

Notes:

Original Notes from HelloRuiz on his design & print:

This is a holder for the plastic tools case that comes with the AnkerMake M5. It clamps to top horizontal bar.

The clamp is intended to be tight, so expect some resistance when attaching.
If you're worried about breakage, you can sand the claws of the clamp down a little bit until you're comfortable enough to push it in. Regardless, a swift, firm push is usually all that's needed. :-)

Printed with pretty much default settings in the AnkerMake slicer.
Normal speed, 0.2 mm layer height, etc.. Two differences:

  • I'd recommend a higher infill % to ensure the clamp is strong.
I personally printed at 60%, but YMMV.
Make sure supports are generated for the clamp. Default zigzag settings should be fine. The underside of the clamp won't look pristine, but it won't matter since it sits on the bar, out of sight.

Note from Niko Caignie
I added brims for this one to keep the supports in place
