Description

A Christmas Tree puzzle box! Add a little challenge to small holiday gifts. Inner dimensions: 23mm diameter opening with 80mm depth.

The puzzle box was generated on https://www.me.uk/puzzlebox/ with the following settings: 2m-1N-25b-23c-84h-1B6-0G4-1w2-2t-5z-1M-3X-0p7-0g1-2r-2R-e-Z-1T-0y1-0Z2. The 0.1mm general x/y clearance and 5mm maze spacing generates a puzzle that feels good in the hand with a very satisfying click into place to close the box.

For the remix, I tweaked the inner puzzle box to create the tree stand look and hollowed out the base. Then, embedded the outer puzzle box into a scaled version (1.8x) of the spiral tree.

super easy print. no supports needed and printed on X1 on sport and had no issues. can't wait until Christmas morning to see how long it takes to open!

This was a super fun way to deliver a white elephant gift. It ends up being a fun challenge that makes people wonder what could be inside! Thanks for the quality and time put into it. It looks sooo good at .16mm layer height.

Printed great but man, be careful. It is super sharp. I'm thinking of remixing it with a different smoother tree on top. My kid actually hurt himself a little. Very cool though, and worked great. provided tons of enjoyment trying to figure it out at our christmas party.
