The box fits well together with its lid, is large enough for a single dice set, and it has a satisying feel in-hand. I made some color, material, and strength modifications to the original, which can be seen in my print profile available above, and pictured here. Please note that this profile does not include the lid with the raised symbol, as I did not modify nor print it, so if you want that you will need the original profile. This profile may potentially be a bit stronger than the original profile as it uses 3 walls and gyroid infill. It has been modified to have colors in the symbol inlay on top and bottom and a color band around the outside from layers 8 to 14, which both looks visually interesting and reduces the need for filament changes. The main body of both the box and lid are in PLA-CF, which was simply chosen for aesthetics and surface texture. The first seven layers of the box and lid use basic PLA in the same color as the PLA-CF used for the body, as the higher print bed temperature used for CF filament appeared to be causing issues with the colored PLA layering properly with the first CF layers on a couple prototype prints. Whether or not it is actually necessary, it makes the top and bottom a little glossier than the look of PLA-CF and I liked the result. The top surfaces as-printed (the interiors of the box and lid) are ironed for a smoother appearance.

This was a great print. Printed easily and flawlessly. Threads worked very well (the usual tight only on the first couple of times). Sadly I never got a photo because I printed it while the recipient was here and forgot to take it before he ran off gleefully.
