Description
You can print a boring static trophy - OR you can print this one! It’s fun, new and unique! It prints in place, and spinslike the popular Tactile Fidget Rings right of the buildplate! And that allows it to be posed in creative positions on the stand - including a more flat traditional position. Enjoy the special look on the shelf!
Overview
The medal part of the trophy comes in multiple versions. For now it comes in these versions:
- 1st (first price!)
- Star
- Blank (you can add custom text/icons in Bambu Studio or Prusaslicer)

Add custom text
Here is how to add custom text to the medal (in Bambu Studio):
- Import the Blank version to the buildplate
- Select the Medal
- Click the Text button in top right (T)
- Write the letter/word in the Input Text field
- Set the Thickness to 3 mm
- Click on the Medal where you want it placed
Edit custom text
Here is how to edit custom text on the medal (in Bambu Studio):
- Click on the Fidget Medal with the ‘Custom’ text on
- In the side-panel on the left, click on Objects (next to Process / Global)
- Expand the Fidget Medal - Blank by pressing the little arrow
- Right click on text_shape and press Edit text
- Adjust text and size to your liking
Assembly
None! The medal prints in place flat on the buildplate, and is ready to place on the stand - no glue needed!
Print instructions
As most of my models this is pretty straight forward. But here is a few tips:
- Orientation: As the model files i oriented (medal flat, stand on the bottom)
- Walls/perimeters: 2 for the medal part - 3 for the base stand
- Supports: No - not needed. (The medal has some bridging - printed just fine on my Bambu Lab P1S)
- Colors: It can be printed in a single color, but within Bambu Studio you can print the parts you like - would love to see you creative prints!

SO COOL! I didn’t think it was going to spin well, I thought the parts would fuse together- but they spin perfectly! And they don’t fall out either. Going to print gold, silver and bronze trophies for our upcoming VR Minigolf tournament- THANKS!

or maybe try to rotate the model 90 degrees on the build plate - if cooling would be better that way 😊

I printed this trophy for work and it looks and feels awesome. Adding a custom picture on the blank trophy was very easy
I scaled the model to 200% so I needed some supports. Also, turn ironing on, it makes the top surface look very nice.

Really good design. I like also the variety of the plates.
I printed it in 200% scale, with a custom text. My kids love it.

Great model, thanks!
I'm printing out several custom ones we will be giving to coworkers who helped on projects last year. I made some changes to settings based on my first test run which layer shifted a tiny bit causing the center section to weld to the middle section and overall made the entire thing stiff to move. I was able to break free, but it wasn't pretty. I noticed there isn't a lot touching the build plate, so to give it a little more contact I lowered the trophy into the bed .2mm (1 layer) and cannot see a difference. I also had some minor sagging/gapping on the underside bridging, so added a little support in the middle for test #2 which worked well.
Trophy- Sovol copper/purple/green silk PLA / Bambu orange PLA that came with the printer
.4 nozzle
.2 layer
3 walls
5 tops/3 bottoms
Top surface- Hilbert Curve (to sort of match textured PEI bottom surface)
10% cubic infill
50mm/s outside wall and top surface (much glossier than 100mm/s first test)
Support- yes, light grid under middle section only
Base-Sunlu black PLA
.4 nozzle
.24 layer
4 walls (to make arms as solid as possible)
15% cubic infill
6 tops/3 bottoms (probably overkill on top, will be trying less)
Ironing- yes, but used modifier so I only ironed the top of the disc (not sure ironing was worth it though)
Wall generator- Arachne. I mainly use classic, but I noticed in preview that it left the top several layers of the arms hollow. Arachne with its variable line width filled them in solid, so I went with that instead.
