Description

Mount for your Filament and Spools using a wall control pegboard systems!

 

Was looking for an easy way to organize all the filaments in an easily usable and viewable way.

I was already a big fan of the DDD wall mount system so used its structure to come up with an cheap and easy way to do this.

 

The main pieces are a modified version for least amount of filament and print time needed using the
DDD wall control accessories system made by Allen Dersha

The following parts from Allen's project were used/modified in mounting this model to my pegboard you can either use the modified versions attached or you can also use the originals.

- 3x7 Angle Bracket Inverted Flat Left

- 3x7 Angle Bracket Inverted Flat Right

- 3x8 Angle Bracket Flat Center

The pieces that I created for the base to hold the spools not included in his system.
- DB_Spool_FilimentFill_Back_3x2 with 3x3 version for more stability if wanted.
- DB_Spool_FilimentFill_Front_3x2 with 3x3 version for more stability if wanted.

 

Plate1 is a single spool mount of a Left bracket, Right bracket and Front and Back spool holder.
Plate2 is for expanding that to have a full row for a single pegboard or 3 spools.
If you want to run a string like the images across 2 pegboards you will want to print both 2 times.
You can also print with mismatching colors to get a look like the images attached.
I also glued all of the pieces together for further stability once completed before putting up.

All STL and 3mf files have been included for each individual part for tinkering.

With this system you can hold 28 Bambulab size spools on two of these peg boards.
Please be aware these connections are not using the standard pegboard holes but the slits in the Wall Control system.
