Description

Lots of great storage solutions for my Bambu Lab spare parts out there but I wanted something with less restrictive internals. This case is completely open on the inside with no dividers. Works great for packs of PTFE tubing, belts, cables, etc. Pretty much anything that does not have to be bound to a certain space.

Construction is solid. (4x) 3mm x 35mm socket head screws and nuts are all you need for the snap lock latch and the rear hinges.

I ran through countless different versions of the snap lock hinge. I wanted it to be as secure as possible while still maintaining functionality. You'll notice, it is a tight fit but with a firm press, it will snap lock right in to place and will not accidently unlatch. I absolutely love the way it turned out and the “snap” of the locking feature is so satisfying.

The print profile is ready to go with correct settings for a strong latch. However, if you decide to use your own settings, please use a minimum of 30% infill, slower speeds, and PLA+ or better for the latch to assure you have a long lasting, functional, and strong latch.

I love this case. I don't have an AMS but for functionality it's great. I ended up making a chopped down version also - perfect to replace my old mini-drill case.

Very nicely done. considering if I should print the latch in PETG possibly, for durability. Already thinking I want some sort of dividers or customized slots for the accessories though. :P Either way, very happy with it!

I understand. I debated dividers in the beginning and found, for my needs, it worked out better without them. i don’t care to throw my file with dividers in the raw section if you want to try it. it just won’t be until later this evening. it’s an assortment of different sized areas if that matters.

Printed perfectly. I used a Carbon Fiber pattern build plate to add a cool pattern to the surface. Printed much easier than I had expected. I will definitely be printing another.

everything worked out great. I would definitely recommend this in a PLA+. with how thin the walls are PLA feels good but lightweight. thanks!

Very nice case. Printed by using Bambu PETG basic. As I don't have the screws at home, I printed some with PETG instead. The PETG screw is very flexiable but works. Hope to use it long lasting.
