3D model description

This is a replica of the 1950s Bread Bait Press which was produced in England by Lesney. It was used by fishers and children to press bread for fishing bait. The original was produced in cast metal. This replica was reproduced using PVA. Unfortunately the PVA is not strong enough to withstand the tension force when screwing in the lug and the thread often breaks. So the replica cannot be used for practical purposes is does make a nice display item. Using a stronger material such as PETG may improve the tensile strength of the thread but I have not tried this yet. Enjoy an interesting piece of history.
