3D model description

Hi!

I wanted some more link separation on a used Wraith I bought and found that a lot of the options for tuning are becoming OOP so I knocked this up and it works great.

Only tested and developed for the rear as I'm not sure about motor clearances (I'm using a Stealth X Trans and a Fusion Pro).

Using the Vanquish Products stainless links, the upper and lower links are parallel when attaching to the middle hole of the riser. I have 120mm shocks on the rear and the rod ends are able to articulate fully without clipping the riser.

I have printed these using the Monocure 3d 'Tuff Resin' and they are holding up really well, the rig has taken some tumbles on rocky terrain and bounced off the rear wheels on funny angles and not detonated the parts. Potentially printing with an ABS style resin would give you some more flexibility on falls but I am happy with the rigidity.

Print at full size. Duplicate and mirror the design to have left and right risers. once printed you can tap the holes or clearance them to suit your bolts. As printed I can thread an M3 screw through this material creating its own thread before the final cure.

The original link bolt in the skid will mount fixing it at one end and use a second M3 bolt from the inside to fix the bracing arm to the second rear skid hole. To resecure the skid into the cage, use a shorter M3 so they don't touch in the middle.
